Telaga Tujuh or the Seven Well Waterfall , Malaysia

Telaga Tujuh or the Seven Well Waterfall, as the name suggests, is a combination of seven natural pools connected by a river. Offering one of the most beautiful views in the Langkawi ranges, this waterfall divides into pools at the top and bottom by a vertical waterfall that drops from a 91-meter cliff.

From the waterfall, you have a mesmerizing view of Burau Bay and Pantai Kok. The waterfall is located in the Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park, to which you have to climb up through humid rainforests. The strongest of the seven pools is known as the Infinity Pool and is located at the base of the waterfall with strong currents. In addition, the rocks near the pools are very slippery. There are 200 steps to the lower pools and about 650 steps to the upper part of the pools, all of which are connected to a flooded river.

The drive through the rainforest is entertaining, and the freshness and the playful macaque monkeys hanging around are impressive. If you are lucky, you'll see large hornbills and giant squirrels roaming the rainforests. The place takes its name from the legend that fairies once bathed here because the waterfall won their hearts, and that the water here is said to have healing properties.
